JORGE GRANADOS ROSS

Jorge Granados Ross is a Mexican filmmaker who has had experience working in film, advertising and music video production. After graduating college in 2013, he moved from Boston to Los Angeles where he worked for companies like Partizan Entertainment, HBO, and Amazon Studios.

 

Upon his return to Mexico City, he became the Executive Producer for Coca-Cola's innovative in-house agency and production company, Coca-Cola Media House.  He left Coca-Cola to enroll at Columbia University's Film MFA program, concentrating in directing and screenwriting. He was the recipient of the International Student Fellowship by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

 

His latest short film, Some Ruins, was part of the official selection at the 2019 Morelia International Film Festival. His latest project as a producer, the Colombian short film 

Entre tú y Milagros directed by Mariana Saffon, was awarded the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at the 77th Venice International Film Festival.

 

He’s currently finishing his next short film for titled

At the Edge of the Volcano and writing his first feature film.
